Third Game vs Providence pictures!

Our third game was very exciting. The boys from providence came to play and as we soon found out, they are as good as the reputation that precedes them. The weather was perfect for football and the crowd was ready early. From the very beginning they established the fact that they were going to run the ball and it was going to be our job to stop them. On the other hand they were fully aware that we were going to pass the ball and they came prepared to stop us. Just as expected it, the game became a defensive battle where both teams were able to do little offensively. However, defensively, both sides were on point and relentless in attacking and persuing plays. Their white and ghostly jerseys seemed to be everywhere no matter where our offense turned. Like angels in the battle of armageddon, the more we ran the more of them appeared. We still believe they played with about 16 or 17 players on defense or at least it seemed that way. Very disciplined and a two men linebacker core that mirrored Penn State in both stance and colors.

As for them, all they saw was blue! Blu up and blu down, blue left and blue right and everywhere in between! As if they were in the middle of an ocean with no end looking for an orange life jacket. Concidentally the only orange that was out there, were Dragon facemasks! the Dragon defense had one goal in mind, to stop the winged offense. And so they did. Not once, but many times, time after time, they never gave up! No matter how close Providence came to the end zone, the Dragon defense did not give up! And it seemed that the quicker we would stop them, the quciker they got the ball back and came after us again! In the end, the blue wave of Dragon fire prevailed and we walked victorious. But everyone knows the gaunlet has dropped! I can very easily guarantee you that this is the start of a tradition. Silver Creek vs Providence has begun and the next time they meet, the battle will pick up right were it left off, for the battles have just begun!!
